iMacs ship with shortened keyboard
Posted on 4 Mar 2009 at 09:09
Apple is no longer shipping an extended keyboard with the iMac, following the introduction of upgraded models this week.
The all-in-one desktops now include a shortened version of the keyboard, without a numeric keypad.
However Apple will supply the fuller keyboard instead at no extra cost.
The shortened keyboard is a wired version of the existing Bluetooth wireless keyboard, which is available as a £20 option with the iMacs. That is considerably cheaper than the £48 cost of buying one separately.
