Enermax Aurora review

Verdict:

Review Date: 23 Oct 2006

Price when reviewed: inc VAT

Reviewed By: Alan Lu

Our Rating 2 stars out of 5

Enermax's Aurora USB keyboard uses low-profile keys similar to those found on notebooks.

It feels responsive and comfortable to type on, with short key travel. There aren't any media keys or quick-launch keys, but an outdated two-port USB1.1 hub is built in and you can plug in a pair of headphones and a microphone.

The back of the keyboard and the keys themselves are made from standard plastic, but the front is made from brushed black aluminium, which looks sleek and classy and feels sturdy.

The Aurora is expensive. Logitech's UltraX USB keyboard is equally responsive and costs just £20 inc VAT.
