So, has Kyocera retained its crown? Well, given that print quality and speed are a mixed bag I would think twice about spending my own cash on an FS-1000+. The lack of USB is a negative factor too. But what really puts me off is the price. At £240, this printer is just too expensive. If you're looking for a budget laser, buy the Samsung ML-6040 instead.
