Antec TruePower New TP-750 review
Verdict:
A powerful and reliable PSU with great efficiency. Only its noisy 120mm cooling fan lets it down a little.

Our Rating
Antec's modular 750W TruePower New TP-750 is surprisingly good value. It provides the full range of connectors you'd expect, including two eight-pin and two six-pin PCI-E connectors for two powerful graphics cards.
There are four 12V rails, which independently power the motherboard and disk drives, the CPU, and two rails for the four PCI-E power connectors. Together they can distribute 744W of the PSU's rated 750W power. Its performance was excellent, with stable voltages across all rails. Efficiency was also impressive at 88 per cent at 50 per cent load and 86 per cent at full load.
The TP-750 is a quality PSU that's ideal for a powerful PC, but we found that its 120mm fan was a little noisy for our liking. We prefer Be Quiet!'s DarkPower Pro 650W instead.
