Verdict:
The quiet, efficient SuperRock's only flaw is its captive cables, which are a surprise at this price.

If you need a lot of power, Tagan's 780W SuperRock could be the answer. It has four 12V rails, two of which feed a PCI-E connector, while a third powers the processor and the last deals with the motherboard and disk drives.
A substantial 95 per cent of the SuperRock's 780W total power output can be allocated to the 12V rails. Each rail is rated at up to 18A, with a combined output of 62A.
Stability wasn't a problem for the TG780-U33II - it passed all our tests without so much as a hiccup. What's more, it impressed us by being 88 per cent efficient at 50 per cent load, and 87 per cent at full load.
The SuperRock is fairly quiet thanks to its 120mm fan, but it doesn't have post-shutdown cooling or modular cables. Overall, this isn't a bad power supply, but others are quieter and cheaper and have modular cables.
