The 660W Zalman is super-quiet and very stable, but cheaper models are available.

Our Rating
The 660W ZM660-XT's power is spread over four 12V rails, each of which is rated at 20A. One powers the processor, two power each of the two PCI-E cables and the fourth deals with the motherboard and disk drives.
We like the modular cable system, but if there's one niggle, it's that the 24-pin ATX motherboard connector is exceptionally tall, which restricts airflow across the board. You get a six-pin PCI-E cable and a 6+2-pin cable.
It passed all our tests, staying well within the ATX specification. It was 85 per cent efficient at full load and 87 per cent at half load. If this isn't impressive enough, it's also one of the quietest models here, thanks to a of copper heatsinks and a 140mm fan.
It's a decent choice, but Be Quiet's Dark Power Pro 650W is cheaper and has two 6+2 pin PCI-E connectors.
