Enermax Revolution 85+ 1,050W review
Verdict:
An outstanding power supply that's quiet, efficient and has more connectors than you're likely to need. It's overkill for most PCs, though.

Despite the eye-watering price, the 85+ 1,050W is a mid-range model in Enermax's Revolution line. Most of the power is produced by six 12V rails, each rated at a huge 30A, with a combined maximum output of 87A.
The number of power connectors on the modular cables is almost silly: eight 6+2-pin PCI-E, two 8-pin EPS12V motherboard connectors, 16 SATA plugs and six Molex. A 135mm fan keeps the Revolution ice cool and continues to work after shut down.
The 85+ passed every one of our tests with ease and is highly efficient, too. At both half and full load it was 89 per cent efficient.
If you want the very best power supply around, this is it. However, it's overkill for most people, as most PCs won't require this much power or half the connectors.
