Antec’s modular 650W TruePower New TP-650 provides the full range of connectors you’d expect, including two 6+2-pin and two 6-pin PCI-E connectors for two powerful graphics cards.
There are four 12V rails, with a combined output of 54A. They independently power the motherboard and disk drives, the processor, and two rails for the four PCI-E power connectors.
Performance was excellent, with stable voltages across all rails. Efficiency was also impressive at 87 per cent at 50 per cent load and 86 per cent at full load.
Thanks to an incredibly quiet 120mm fan (at 50 per cent load) and modular cables, the TP-650 is a quality PSU that’s ideal for a powerful PC.
