Thermaltake Evo Blue W0307 review
Verdict:
Short cables and a noisy fan let down this otherwise good power supply.

Our Rating
The Evo Blue is a striking power supply, thanks to its side air vents and 140mm blue LED fan. It has modular cables as you'd expect at this price, but they're a little on the short side for installation into a large tower case. Even in a smaller case, the short cables will make it tricky to route them neatly.
There's one 12V rail, rated at 48A - one of the more potent we've seen. There are two 6+2-pin and one 6-pin PCI-E connectors, so this will power any high-end graphics card. Four SATA and six Molex power connectors should be enough for most PCs.
The Evo passed all stability tests and was 84 per cent efficient at both half and full load. Unfortunately it was also quite loud during our tests at 50 per cent load. At full load, it became downright noisy.
While it's a stable power supply, the short cables and noise mean it's unpleasant to live with.
