Nokia's first full HD smartphone now available for preorder in the US, with a free game and Microsoft app store cards bundled in for early adopters

Nokia has opened pre-orders for its upcoming Lumia 1520 in the US, with the company confirming its first Full HD smartphone would go on sale in Microsoft retail stores as well as online.

The Lumia 1520 is available for preorder today, and will hit physical store shelves the 22nd of November. On this side of the Atlantic, shoppers will have to wait an extra three days until the UK launch on November 25.

Nokia is bundling a few additional incentives to convince potential US customers, with a $50 Microsoft Store card on top of an initial $20 app card, a free flip cover valued at $39.99 and a free download of Halo: Spartan Assault for Windows Phone.

Launched in October at the Nokia World event in Abu Dhabi, the Nokia Lumia 1520 is a 6-inch, full-HD smartphone with a quad-core processor and a 20-megapixel PureView camera sensor, powered by the latest version of Microsoft's Windows Phone 8 mobile operating system.

The Lumia 1520 will initially be available in black, red and white, with yellow to become available later this year.

We asked Nokia's UK press team if any similar deals were planned for UK customers, but were told nothing had yet been announced.
