Zen Internet offers three broadband packages, each providing download speeds of up to 8Mbit/s. According to our survey, Zen users have an average download speed of 4.69Mbit/s, which is the third quickest 8Mbit/s service tested.
Zen also scored very highly in our customer service questions, receiving the highest score in every category. If you're looking for excellent reliability and great technical support from your broadband provider, Zen should certainly be on your shortlist.
There are no lengthy contracts, and Zen requires only a month's notice to cancel. No hardware is supplied, however, so you'll have to buy it from Zen or provide your own. Migrating to Zen from another provider is free, but new connections have a setup fee of £47 including VAT.
The Lite, Active and Pro packages provide 5GB, 25GB and 50GB download limits respectively. All packages come with email and a massive 2GB of webspace. You can also have a static IP address at no extra cost.
Even if you want to keep your BT phone line, there are far cheaper options. However, Zen's excellent customer service and quick download speeds make it a good choice.
