Beauty Never Fades

In the forthcoming issue of Shopper, you'll be able to discover the results of our group test of online and high street photo printing services.
Each service uses different equipment, paper, and sometimes even printing methods to produce their photos. This meant that we saw some radical differences in quality between the various printers, even though most used the same basic silver halide laser exposure printing technique.
Our group test reviews the quality of the photos as we received them, but one most important qualities of a photograph is its permanence and durability.
A photo is a physical memory of an event, and no one wants their memories to fade. To test this, we're going to be exposing photos from each of the printing services, along with one from a popular home photo printer, to natural air and light conditions in our window.
We'll update you on how they change over the coming months.
