Microsoft will launch a new version of Windows this year. Windows 7, the successor to Windows Vista, was originally expected to arrive in 2010 but the company now intends to start burning discs around August 2009. This are likely to arrive in shops by October, although businesses may be able to buy and install the new operating system earlier.
A preview version of Windows 7 is already available and we've been experimenting with it already. You can follow our experiences at our blog.
