Microsoft says UK will get Windows 7 Family Pack
Posted on 24 Aug 2009 at 15:42
Now that Microsoft intends to ship the same version of Windows 7 in Europe as in the rest of the world, the company has announced that the UK will now be able to get the Family Pack.
Available from 22 October (the official launch date of Windows 7), the family pack will let users upgrade three existing Windows PCs to Windows 7 Home Premium for just £150.
Be warned that this offer is available in limited quantities. Microsoft hasn't clarified what 'limited' means, but we advise being quick. When Windows 7 was released with for pre-order with a limited number of discount copies, stores sold out overnight disappointing thousands of bargain hunters.
