Google makes Gmail even better with embarrassment-reducing features

Gmail has just been given a boost with new features which attempt to spare you the embarrassment of sending email without attachments, emailing the wrong person and forgetting to include certain members of groups when composing messages.
Last year, Google launched Gmail Labs as a way to introduce experimental features. Gmail users can click the Labs tab under Settings when they log in to see the full list of add-ons.
One of the most useful is Undo Send, which lets you claw back your email up to 10 seconds after clicking the Send button. This is sure to save face when you realise you've sent it to the wrong person, forgotten to add an attachment or have a change of heart.
There's less chance you'll forget an attachment if you enable the Forgotten Attachment Detector. This looks at your message and if you mention attaching a file but didn't do so, it will warn you when you try to send it.
Another highly useful option is Got the wrong Bob? This looks at the groups of people you frequently email and tries to work out when you accidentally include the wrong person - Bob Jones instead of Bob Smith, for example - saving you having to apologise to the incorrect recipient, and the 'real' Bob that missed out on the information. Lastly, Suggest more recipients has been renamed Don't forget Bob, and again aims to make sure you've included everyone relevant in your email.
If you don't have a Gmail account, you can sign up for free.
