Microsoft launches Windows 7

Today Microsoft announced the worldwide availability of its Windows 7 operating system. Look here for our full review of Windows 7 Home Premium.
The new operating system offers a streamlined user interface and significant new features that make everyday tasks easier. We seriously recommend that most XP owners should upgrade, while Vista users that do more than basic browsing and office tasks will also benefit from the new operating system.
There are two special offers that should appeal to Shopper readers. Until the 31st of December, an upgrade to Windows Vista Home Premium is £80 inc VAT, rather than £100. Also available in limited quantities is the Family Pack, which allows installation of Home Premium on three PCs for £150.
