Popular demand overwhelms Sky TV on Xbox 360

The new Sky Player service on the Xbox 360 has proven so popular that Sky and Microsoft have had to restrict access to the streaming video service.
Sky Player on Xbox 360 allows owners of Microsoft's popular games console to watch both live and on-demand Sky programming, depending on their Sky TV subscription. Even though it was launched only yesterday, the service has proven so popular that it has overwhelmed Sky's servers, and has been taken off-line. The service will now be gradually rolled out in phases.
More information about Sky Player on Xbox 360 can be found at Microsoft's and Sky's websites.
