If you're looking for an image-editing program along the lines of Adobe Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro, this is it.
Make no mistake, this is a tool that even graphic designers won't turn their noses up at. It can open, edit and save images in JPEG, GIF, BMP and native Photoshop formats, and it has a huge array of painting and photo-editing tools. You can work with multi-layered images, with full support for colour and level adjustments, filters, gradient fills, blending modes and transparency. If this is gibberish to you, Pocket Artist may have more power than you need, but for serious photo editing on your handheld it's peerless. There's almost nothing this software can't do, from pixel-level editing to red-eye removal. Graphic design isn't something you'd usually consider doing on a PDA, but Pocket Artist makes it possible - if you have the patience to work on such a small screen.
