GCSE Bitesize review

Verdict:

Review Date: 18 Mar 2005

Price when reviewed:

Our Rating 5 stars out of 5

The BBC's GCSE Bitesize website has the curriculum pretty well covered and even offers subjects such as business studies, physical education and religious studies, which are often ignored by other resources.

In each subject you'll find key points of the curriculum content and tests to make sure you've mastered this material.

What it presents and how it is tested depends on the subject. The mathematics section includes multiple choice questions, calculations to perform and equations to solve. The science tests consist mainly of filling in missing words, multiple choice questions and brief calculations, but these are typical of exam-style questions. The three languages sections, for French, German and Spanish, use audio for both listening and speaking activities.

This free resource is well worth a visit for its content, interactive tests and mock exams with marking schemes.
