Jobs lays on the Microsoft jibes

Steve Jobs expects the imminent release of Mac OS X 10.4 to provide yet another boost to Mac sales, already at their highest level for five years.
'Tiger will give customers one more reason to buy a Mac, because it's so far ahead of Windows,' the Apple CEO told Business Week, adding that Microsoft 'are trying to copy everything they can from it'.
Jobs joked that 'this is one of those rare occasions when a major software release is actually early', undoubtedly a reference to the ongoing delays to Longhorn, the next version of Windows.
'It has turned out just wonderfully,' he added. 'It's our biggest leap forward since the original Macintosh in 1984.'
