British Resorts Association review
According to the British Resorts Association, the British seaside holiday is making something of a comeback.
With many of our beaches having received the much-coveted Blue Flag award, the UK is no longer the dirty man of Europe and 270 million trips were made to the coast during 2003. If you're nostalgic for donkey rides, candy floss and kiss-me-quick hats, or if you prefer to see something of the more up-to-date attractions now on offer in Britain's resorts - which include some inland destinations as well as the seaside - this is the site for you.
Although parts of this site are a resource for those in the tourist industry, there's a wealth of information for the visitor, too. You can search for resorts by region, find what they offer, how to get there, where to stay, or look for the various special events organised throughout the year.
