Enermax's Laureate EB305C-S turns a spare disk into an external USB hard disk.

The Laureate feels tough thanks to its aluminium case. Installing a 31/2" hard disk is easy: pop the front off using the tool provided and slide the top panel out of the way.

The Laureate supports ATA and SATA hard disks. You just change the internal cables to move from ATA to SATA. Performance over the USB Hi-Speed interface is what we'd expect.

It's very well priced, and the fact that you can change the hard disk interface makes it suitable for everyone.
