Lenovo announces "fastest ultraportable laptop"

Lenovo has announced four new additions to its ThinkPad range, designed to meet the needs of a range of users.
The X201 tablet PC is described as "the industry’s fastest ultraportable laptop", with the most powerful models supplied with a 2.66GHz Intel Core i7-620M capable of managing over 3GHz with TurboBoost. It's certainly compact – its 12.1in touchscreen can be swung round for use either as a pure touchscreen PC or in a standard laptop screen and keyboard configuration.
If you need even more portability, the X201s ultraportable is even lighter, with some models weighing in at less than 1.2kg. You won't be left scrabbling for a power socket either, with some models in the range claimed to have over 12 hours of battery life.
The entire range is available with up to 8GB of RAM, fingerprint scanners, superbright screens for outdoor use, WiMAX, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. They're not cheap though, with pricing for various models starting at between £849 and £1,149.
