The ATV's rubber outer casing should absorb most bumps and knocks without a problem.
The cap is made of the same material and attaches to a dangling tab when not needed. There's no software provided, but you can download encryption and application software for free.
OCZ's ATV was consistently quick in our tests, and far faster than Corsair's Survivor when writing small files. It's not as tough as the Survivor, but it's still sturdy and is better value.
