Arma: armed assault is a military simulation and as such, you'll often find yourself traipsing miles to reach your objectives.

If you're expecting toe to toe gunfights with insurgents located a few metres away at the other end of the room then think again. Most of the time you'll find yourself picking off dots on the horizon.

As the action takes place on the fictional island of Sahrani, you can go wherever you like, whenever you like. The only issue is the game's high difficulty level. If you're willing to put in serious time then Arma has immense potential, but if not then it's best to surrender now.
