The best Fitbit deals on smartwatches and fitness trackers, including the cheapest ever Fitbit Sense

The January sales period is the perfect time to finally invest in a quality fitness tracker, so the natural choice is Fitbit and its evolving line of trackers and smartwatches. Of course, it’s great to begin a health kick at any time, but as we say goodbye to the old year and hello to the new, nabbing a Fitbit for a bargain price might be the best way to kickstart your fitness routine.

As well as daily step counts and sleep cycles, many Fitbit wearables now let you monitor your heart rate, swimming strokes, VO2 max, and even track your precise location using GPS. All this helps build a detailed picture of your overall fitness and health so you can get to know your body better and get fit doing it.

We’ve trailed through all the leading retailers to find you the greatest discounts on quality Fitbit devices and crucially, we check all our deals against the average selling price for each model. So, even if the RRP is insanely high, you can rest assured that you’ll be getting a serious deal.

Below you’ll find a guide to some of the best Fitbit deals available today, including the latest models, the Fitbit Charge 4, Versa 3 and all the classic Fitbit devices.

Best Fitbit deals this January

1. Fitbit Sense (was £247, now £179)

If features are what you look for in a smartwatch, then the Fitbit Sense is the logical choice – especially now it is selling for a record low price.

This is Fitbit’s most advanced smartwatch, able to perform an on-the-spot ECG (electrocardiogram test) to check heart functionality, track stress via an electrodermal activity (EDA) monitor and even measure blood oxygen levels. As well as all the features you come to expect of a smartwatch, including heart rate and sleep tracking, it can also help with everyday tasks like phone calls or making contactless payments. As a great all-rounder suited to just about everything you can think of, buying this Fitbit during the January sales makes perfect sense.

2. Fitbit Versa 3 (was £180, now £149)

If you nab the Versa 3 for over £30 cheaper than average this January, you won’t be disappointed.

What sets the latest Versa 3 model apart from the Versa 2 is the introduction of GPS, which had previously been a feature exclusive to higher-end Fitbits. Now you can get more accurate tracking, in addition to improved heart-rate monitoring, for the lowest price this model has ever been. This puts the Versa 3 in something of a middle state between the more expensive Fitbit Sense – featuring an EDA to measure stress, ECG for heart rhythm and a monitor for skin temperature – and the Versa 2, which forgoes GPS.

3. Fitbit Charge 4 (was £112, now £99)

The Fitbit Charge 4 has a range of features to keep even the biggest fitness fanatics excited, including GPS, swim tracking and Spotify control, making it our best all-rounder Fitbit. With its new Active Zone Minutes metric, you can even track how hard you worked out over the course of a day or week, instead of just things like steps taken or distance travelled.

For a more holistic understanding of your workouts, the Charge 4 is a fantastic wearable and only resisted a higher grading in our review because of the price point. We’ve seen this go cheaper – all the way down to £80 in July 2021 – but this is still a decent deal compared to the average selling price of £112.

4. Fitbit Charge 5 (was £156, now £127)

The Fitbit Charge 5 only got released a matter of months ago but is already discounted to its lowest ever price. Improving on the already brilliant Charge 4, the latest iteration smoothes out the rough parts to bring verve to a previously square and monochrome watch face through a gently curved, colour AMOLED display. With built-in GPS and a lot of the sensors found on the Fitbit Sense, it has everything for a person wanting to get fitter without wading through a barrage of stats.

5. Fitbit Versa 2 (was £135, now £120)

We gave the Fitbit Versa 2 four stars in our full-length Fitbit Versa 2 review, singing its praises for a punchy design, robust set of features and laudable Fitbit app. Improving on the first iteration, the Versa 2 has a fresh OLED screen that is also likely to contribute towards another improvement: increased battery life of up to five days. It even comes with a built-in microphone so that Alexa can answer all the questions you might have.

While the Versa 3 is the new kid of the block, Fitbit’s second-gen model still holds up as a quality wearable and is now available for its cheapest EVER price.
