Learning to drive a car can be a daunting experience, particularly as learners have to navigate their way around both a practical exam and a theory test.
This app serves up official Driving Standards Agency theory questions on the Highway Code – it contains more than 900 of them – and enables you to study different topics such as motorway rules, safety, hazard awareness and so on.
The questions are generated randomly, so you can’t just memorise the order, which means you really do have understand the topic you’re studying. You can also select just how many questions you want to answer each time you study, so you can choose to squeeze in a bit of revision wherever you are, whether you have a spare 10 minutes or half an hour.
There’s also a handy mock test mode, which simulates the real theory test, so you can see just how well – or how badly – you would have done if you had taken the test for real.
