Fitbit sale: Amazon has just knocked 40% off the Charge 2

Rejoice! You can get Fitbit's stellar wearable for less than £100

The fitness tracker market has boomed in the last few years. These days, it seems like you see these handy little devices strapped to the wrists of just about everyone you meet. And the name that appears more than most is Fitbit.

Fitbit has earned a reputation as one of the industry’s leading brands, and with good reason: its wearables are not just highly versatile and efficient, but rather stylish too. (A watch is always a fashion statement, after all.) That’s why we were pleased to have just discovered Amazon has slashed the price of the Charge 2 across its various sizes and colours. They’re not quite as good as the slashed prices we saw in last month’s Prime Day sale – but they’re bargains nonetheless.

As you can read in our hands-on review of the Charge 2, we were mightily impressed by this addition to the Fitbit range, a marked improvement on its overly small and fiddly predecessor, the Charge HR. It will measure all the usuals for you – heart rate, steps taken, calories burned – which can all be collated and assessed in the Fitbit app. Competitive types can even compare their stats again other users. Best of all, it will last for a solid five days before it needs charging.

Amazon has dropped the price of small grey-blue-gold Charge 2 from £160 to just £98, while the large lavender-rose-gold version has fallen from to just £94. If your style is more monochrome, the large gunmetal version has been reduced from to £100. In other words: if you’re looking for a Fitbit deal and you’re not willing to wait until Black Friday, you should get clicking.
