The Samsung Galaxy S7 is the best smartphone there is right now. It’s got great battery performance, a fantastic screen and an amazing camera. However, it’s not cheap, so you’re right to look for the best Samsung Galaxy S7 deals before you buy.
Currently, the Galaxy S7 is priced at £439 for a sim-free device. This is down 22% from its £569 launch price. If you’re looking for the best deal on the S7, or any phone, we recommend buying the phone outright, so you can take advantage the best SIM-only deals as this invariably works out cheaper in the long run.
That said, it’s a competitive market, so there are still some great deals to be had. Here’s a selection of August 2016’s best Samsung Galaxy S7 deals.

1. Vodafone – only £32.00pm and 6GB data
£29.99 upfront | Unlimited calls and texts | 6GB data | 24 months contract | Total cost: £797.99
This is a REALLY good deal from Vodafone. Paying £29.99 upfront for the Samsung Galaxy S7 is peanuts. What makes this contract worth paying attention to is the ample 6GB data plus unlimited calls and texts.
2. Three – only £33.00pm and you pay nothing upfront
£0 upfront | Unlimited calls and texts | 2GB data | 24 months contract | Total cost: £792
The best thing about this deal from Three is the relatively low monthly cost and zero to pay upfront. However, 2GBs of data isn’t a lot, so I’d advise checking your current data usage before committing to this. If you find you’re under 2GB on average, this is really good value. If you’re not, avoid.
3. Vodafone – just £24.00pm!
£77.99 upfront | Unlimited calls and texts | 1GB data | 24 months | Total cost: £653.99
If you’re not a heavy consumer of data this is a very cheap deal from Vodafone. It’s total 24-month cost of £633.99, including the £77.99 upfront fee, is one of the cheapest offers available without buying the phone outright. Be careful though as 1GB of data won’t get you very far at all.
4. Three – £37.00pm, £273.99 upfront with UNLIMITED data!
£273.99 upfront | Unlimited calls and texts | Unlimited data | 24 months | Total cost: £1,161.99
This contract obviously isn’t cheap. But it entitles you to nearly £200 off the Galaxy S7 and, importantly, gives you access to unlimited 4G data. That’s the main attraction here. It’s worth noting that Three’s Feel at Home roaming offer is fantastic, enabling you to roam for free in 18 popular countries.
5. Three – £36.00pm, ZERO upfront and 8GB data
£0 upfront | Unlimited calls and texts | 8GB data | 24 months | Total cost: £864.00
I’ve given this the Editor’s Choice award due to its generous 8GB of data. Zero upfront. And because it’s with Three, meaning you can utilise the Feel at Home feature, which can save you hundreds/thousands of pounds over the course of the year.
Samsung Galaxy S7 deals by network
EE
EE’s most popular plan is its 4GB plan. If you buy direct from EE, you pay £10 upfront for the handset and then £51 a month. TCO over 2 years is £1,234. You also get unlimited minutes and texts, as you’d expect at that price. However, if you buy through uSwitch, you don’t have any upfront cost at all – just a £36-per-month contract that takes TCO to £854.
uSwitch also has an exclusive 2GB EE plan that costs just £33.50-per-month, taking TCO to £803, but this isn’t such a good deal as the 4GB plan listed above. It’s a saving if you’re sure you don’t need the extra data, but I’d go for the bigger package at these prices.
Vodafone
My favourite pick from Vodafone is its Red Value 3GB Bundle. You pay £85 upfront for the handset and then £28 a month. TCO over 2 years is therefore £757. You also get unlimited minutes and texts.
That’s better value than EE’s 2GB plan, but there’s also the temptation of Vodafone’s 5GB Red Value Bundle as well, which throws in 24 months worth of Netflix, Now TV, Spotify or Sky Sports Mobile TV as well as the phone. It’s not that much more, either, as uSwitch has a deal that costs just £29 upfront and then £32-per-month thereafter, with TCO coming to just £797. That’s a great deal for a 5GB plan.
Three
Three’s deals are surprisingly straightforward. You get 2GB of data and all the texts and minutes you want for £31 a month, with no upfront cost, totalling £744 TCO. Not enough data? Then simply add £5 a month and an upfront cost of £17 (£881 TCO) to go 4GB, or go for unlimited data for £46-per-month with an upfront cost of £16, taking the TCO to £1,120.
O2
Most of O2’s plans don’t stand out from the crowd, for example 3GB of data a month for a TCO of £826 is unlikely to win your business, but it does have some more interesting deals if you’re looking for much larger data plans.
Sign up for its 30GB data deal at £53 a month (£30 upfront, £1,301 TCO) and you get a free upgrade to a new handset after a year. The terms and conditions are long and complex and you’ll have to keep your phone to tip-top-shape, but they will waive the upgrade fee to a new handset, an S8 for instance, in 12 month’s time.
Carphone Warehouse
Head over to Carphone warehouse and there’s a whole bunch of other deals available for the networks above. The best deal is with Vodafone, which gets you 6GB of data, unlimited minutes and texts and 500MB of included EU roaming data, as well as one of Vodafone’s extra entertainment bundles mentioned above. You pay £30 upfront for the handset but then just £32-per-month. TCO over 2 years is just £798. That’s just £1 more than the 5GB deal we listed above, so this is probably the best value deal you can buy right now.
giffgaff
giffgaff sells the S7 for £519 outright, but you’ll then need to buy one of giffgaff’s goodybags, which range from £5 up to £20. The £12-per-month goodybag gets you 2GB of data, unlimited texts and 500 UK minutes, so this will take the cost to £857 over the course of two years.
If you don’t have the cash to buy each phone upfront, it’s also available to pay off monthly at either £24.50 over a period of two years with an upfront cost of just £25. However, this takes the overall cost of ownership to £613, and that’s not including the cost of a goodybag. Sticking with the £12 goodybag, you’re looking at £901.
