Although its typing surface is squishy, the FreeKey's ability to be rolled away makes it brilliantly portable

Bluetooth keyboards are ideal if you want to be able to type swiftly on an iPhone, iPad or any phone or tablet that runs Android 2.3 or better. However, most of them, such as the excellent Voix Genie, are still rather too large to carry around.
Schosche's FreeKey has no such portability problems. Made of flexible rubber, with only a solid 27x10mm transmitter at the left hand side, it can be rolled up and stuffed into the pocket of a coat or backpack. It's not as pleasant to type on as the Genie, as its keys are predictably rubbery and don't provide much feedback. If you have the packing room, we prefer Voix's keyboard, but if not, this £45 folding keyboard is ideal for anyone who wants to travel light, yet needs to type faster than they can on a touchscreen.
