Cyborg R.A.T. 7 review
Verdict:
An eye-catching mouse with plenty of customisation options, but it’s expensive and we found its design a little gimmicky

Looking more like a Transformer than a mouse, it’s not just the price of the R.A.T. 7 that will grab your attention. Various aspects of the mouse can be adjusted, and the palm rest along with the left and right edges can be swapped out for different-sized versions.
A tool to adjust and remove parts slots neatly into the rear, but it’s fiddly to use. A five-piece weight pack is also included, although we found it made little difference to overall usability. Despite the many ways in which to modify the mouse, we couldn’t get it to match the comfort levels of some of the more conventional mice we've reviewed.
Two buttons sit on the left edge and are thumb-activated. A handy Precision Aim button is also located here and temporarily activates a low dpi mode, which is particularly useful when performing tasks such as sniping. User-configurable dpi and mode settings can be switched between using two dedicated buttons on the top of the mouse.
There's tons of customisation here, but it's very expensive and feels a little gimmicky.
