For many of us, a great SIM-only deal means the maximum amount of data for the minimum monthly cost. But we’ve also included some deals below that simply offer unbeatably low monthly prices – if you’re not a huge data hog, these may appeal to you. There are also contracts on our list that offer unusual extras, such as unlimited social media use or content streaming, or free subscriptions to services like BT Sport. We’ve tried to cater for all tastes.

1. Vodafone: 100GB for £10/mth
This is our favourite SIM-only deal of the Black Friday period: get 100GB of data on a 12-month contract from Vodafone for £10/mth, down from £14/mth. That’s the price you’d ordinarily pay for a 20GB SIM-only plan from Vodafone, which helps contextualise the sheer insanity of this discount a little. In order to enjoy this offer to its fullest, you will need to claim cashback, but the retailer – Affordable Mobiles – explains how to do that once you make the purchase.
2. Smarty: 4GB for £6/mth
Looking for the cheapest SIM-only deal of Black Friday and Cyber Monday? This £6/mth contract from Smarty fits the bill, offering you 4GB of data with unlimited calls and texts. It’s a one-month contract, which makes it a strong alternative to a pay-as-you-go plan. Just be aware that it doesn’t support 5G data connections.
3. Three: 100GB for £12/mth
As always, Three has come up trumps this Black Friday period with an astonishing high data, low-cost SIM-only deal. Its unlimited SIM is good value at £16/mth too, but we reckon 100GB is enough for the sweeping majority of users – and at £12/mth for 12 months, there’s no arguing with the monthly cost. That’s a 5G-ready SIM with unlimited minutes and texts.
4. VOXI: 50GB for £10/mth
If you’re the sort that rather enjoys watching Squid Game on the morning commute or browsing Instagram in a coffee shop, Voxi (from Vodafone) is the network for you. With free, unlimited social media and streaming service usage that’s completely unconnected from your main data contract, you won’t have to worry about finding a hotspot ever again. Get 50GB of 5G-ready data for £10/mth this Cyber Monday.
5. O2: 250GB for £20/mth
Where to begin with this one? Aside from the 250GB of data and the low £20 monthly fee, this 24-month O2 SIM-only deal comes with a free six-month subscription to either Disney Plus, Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Music Unlimited, Audible, Calm or McAfee Mobile Security, plus a six-month Apple Music Plus subscription and free roaming in 75 countries worldwide. That’s quite a platter of freebies.
