Dyson vacuum prices SLASHED in Currys PC World sale

You can save up to £100 in the Dyson sale at Currys - and get a 1-in-10 chance to win £250

The days are growing longer. The weather’s growing better (well, kind of). Which means it’s that time of year when people start to think about giving their homes a good old-fashioned spring clean. And what better excuse than to bin your knackered old vacuum cleaner and invest in a discounted Dyson?

In its current ‘Heroes of the Home’ sale, Currys has slashed the prices of a range of cleaners from the industry-leading brand. A handful of the vacs are sale are ones we’ve actually put to the test ourselves. Hey, you should come and take a look at the Expert Reviews office – there isn’t a speck of dust to be seen anywhere.

There’s the Dyson Cyclone V10, which we gave a five-star verdict when we reviewed it back in 2018. The Cyclone was one of the very first cordless vacs that could be used in place of a traditional upright vacuum cleaner, completely dispensing with the hassle of tripping over power cords or reaching behind the couch to plug it into the mains. Our reviewer Jonathan Bray described it as ‘effective and powerful… a well-designed, powerful cordless vacuum cleaner.’ It’s usually on sale for £479, but right now is just £399.

The Dyson V11 Absolute is also on sale – another Dyson cleaner that earned five stars from us when we reviewed it – we described it as boasting ‘the best performance we’ve ever seen from a cordless vacuum cleaner’. Hardly a surprise then that the Absolute comes with a price tag of £599 – but that’s now dropped to just £499.

Better still, Currys is running a nice little side offer that puts everyone who purchases a discounted Dyson in with a 1-in-10 chance to win £250. Which, when you think about it, are pretty good odds. Good enough to make you buy a new vacuum cleaner? Probably not. Good enough to sway you if you’re on the fence, however? We’ll leave that with you. Just think of all the cleaning products that £250 could buy!
