Amazon Prime Day: Save up to £200 on Shark vacuum cleaners

Let’s be honest: buying a vacuum cleaner is about as much fun as using one. Of all the tech, gadgets and other products whose prices have been slashed in Amazon’s gargantuan Prime Day sale, it’s unlikely you’re particularly thrilled by the prospect of picking up a new vacuum cleaner.
Nevertheless, a bargain’s a bargain, and you can’t argue against the huge savings you can enjoy with the two deals that Amazon are running in the form of two vacuum cleaners from the Shark range, one corded, one cordless. We haven’t reviewed either model, but when we put Shark DuoClean Cordless IF250UK to the test, we were hugely impressed by its suction power and long-lasted battery life.
Firstly, there’s the Shark IF130UKTH Cordless Vacuum Cleaner, which has been spectacularly reduced from £400 to £200 in price. This one’s a great choice if, like me, you’re convinced yourself that faffing around with cables behind the sofa is literally taking years off your life. With its powerful double-brush floorhead and bendable hose, the IF130UKTH will make vacuuming far less of a hassle.
Then there’s the Shark NV801UK Powered Lift-Away Vacuum Cleaner. This exceptionally versatile vacuum can be used in both push-along and hand-held form, so should be perfect for all your home-cleaning needs. While it usually retails at £330 – no, we’d never think of spending that much either. Thankfully, it’s now been reduced to a mere £180. Much better!
