This is one of the best Vodafone deals we’ve seen recently: via the third-party site Affordable Mobiles, you can scoop a very healthy 30GB of SIM-only data for £10/mth on a one-year contract, with nothing to pay upfront. That’s an excellent offer in itself, but it becomes unmissable when you consider that it’s the price you used to pay for just 3GB. It’s the perfect plan if you’re watching the pennies in these tough financial times.
It’s not a 5G SIM, but Vodafone’s 4G network covers a claimed 99% of the UK and it means, if you have an older phone, you won’t be paying for a service you don’t need. Unlike many third-party deals, there are no sudden price rises or cashback hoops to jump through here, either – what you see is what you’ll pay for a year.
Vodafone deals like this don’t come along every day so it’s worth taking a break from your Platinum Jubilee street party to sign up while it lasts.
But what’s Vodafone like as a mobile provider? It won plaudits for its wide selection of plans in our latest review of its service, while its 4G and 5G speeds are also up to scratch. It will deliver a reliable signal too. So-so customer support ratings were our major quibble with the mobile provider, but it’s not unique in this respect – many of the big names posted similarly disappointing scores. And these minor complaints are easy to look past when you’re getting this much 4G data for a tenner.
