Masses of features and a big screen make the ET2410INTS our new favourite all-in-one PC; it really can do almost anything

2.5GHz Intel Core i5-2400S, 6GB RAM, 23.6in 1,920x1,080 display, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Currently unavailable, the ET2410INTS-B024C will be on sale in September

With an all-in-one computer, you can't upgrade the display, so it's worth making sure that you get one with a large-enough screen. In terms of space versus screen size, a 24in model makes a lot of sense, such as with the Asus ET2410INTS.

Asus ET2410INTS Side

This PC has an impressive specification, particularly when it comes to its 2.5GHz Core i5-2400S processor. Its performance in our benchmark tests was excellent for an all-in-one, with an overall score of 82. This means that the PC will easily run any desktop software you care to throw at it and quickly handle difficult tasks such as encoding media files. It has 6GB of 1,333MHz DDR3 RAM, which means that it won't be phased by memory-intensive processes such as video editing, either.

Asus ET2410INTS Back

The system's gaming potential is rather more limited, though - its 1GB Nvidia GeForce GT 540M GPU hits the limits of its processor power when it comes to playing the latest 3D games at the screen's native resolution of 1,920x1,080. We got a score of just 6.7fps in Crysis 2 and a completely unplayable result in Dirt 3 at our usual Ultra quality settings. However, reducing Dirt 3's graphics configuration to 1,280x720 and its settings to High quality produced a near-playable frame rate of 24fps. It's not amazing, but you'll be able to play most recent games in some form.
