Grab the Samsung Galaxy S10e for a bargain price and get a free voucher
John Lewis is currently offering the Samsung Galaxy S10e for a bargain price of £499, and will throw in a voucher for up to £125 with your purchase.
That price is a substantial knockdown from the handset’s recommended retail price of £669 and, although it has fallen in price recently, this deal is definitely worth considering if you’re in the market for a new phone. John Lewis’ current spate of “e-gift card” offers means you can also claim a bonus voucher on a future purchase.
With the Samsung Galaxy S10e, the reduced price is only available in the Canary Yellow” or Prism Green colours. If you absolutely must have the phone in black or white, you’ll be paying an extra £100 for the pleasure.
With your nice bright green phone, you can then claim a free gift card – £125 if you’re a John Lewis member and £100 if you’re not, although there’s scope to become a member and get the bigger discount as long as you do so before using the voucher. You can find more details about that on John Lewis’ website.
In our review of the Samsung Galaxy S10e, we found a lot to like in its compact design and impeccable camera performance. Pitched as the slightly more affordable version of the Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus, it doesn’t quite have all the features of those handsets, but it remains an excellent phone.
“The Galaxy S10e might initially be the least impressive of the family, but in the areas that matter most, it’s equally as formidable,” wrote our mobile technology editor, Nathan Spendelow. “You’ll spot a few compromises here and there but, considering the S10e is the cheapest of the three, the fact that it still brings top-end flagship specifications to the table is frankly mind-boggling.”
