Minor grumbles aside, Universal Type Server (and Client) is a powerful font manager. Anyone working with a team and considering deploying more than a handful of copies of solo font management tools should look at this carefully, and not just in order to understand the pricing system. It can work wonders for keeping everyone in sync, legally compliant and, most importantly, able to get on with their work without fuss.
