Free Fire TV stick with an Amazon Echo Dot

Looking to upgrade your smart home for less? Look no further

No fewer than three major UK retailers are currently offering a fantastic saving on two of Amazon’s most popular products.

You can currently pick up a Fire TV Stick for absolutely nothing when you purchase an Amazon Echo Dot from any of Argos, Currys PC World or Amazon itself. The regular combined RRP of these two products is £90, but right now you can pick them both up for just £50 – a saving of 44%.

The 3rd-gen Echo Dot is Amazon’s best-selling voice-controlled speaker, and is one of the cheapest ways to get Alexa into your home. You can ask it to stream songs from Spotify, Amazon Music, TuneIn and more, as well as getting regular news and weather updates, among other things.

It also packs a surprisingly good punch in terms of audio quality for a speaker of this size, as our original review would attest to.

While the Echo Dot will have you covered in terms of audio, the Fire TV Stick should satisfy your visual needs. Now with the all-new Alexa voice remote included in the price, you can stream shows from apps such as Netflix, BBC iPlayer and All 4 straight onto your home TV screen.

If you’re an Amazon Prime member, you’ll also gain access to all of Prime Video’s exclusive movies and shows, including the latest series of The Grand Tour.

Although most online shoppers these days prefer to use Amazon, it should be noted that buying this bundle via Argos or Currys PC World will give you more colour options.

The Echo Dot is only available in Charcoal from the former, but you can pick it up in its Heather Grey and Sandstone variations from either of the latter retailers.

You’ve got until Friday 5 April to make the most of what looks like a solid saving.
