eBay Flash Sale: Get an iPhone X for just £439 or a 4K Samsung TV for £310 – plus many more savings
The discount applies to new items, as well as refurbished and second-hand models
To kick off the long weekend, eBay.co.uk has launched its pre-Bank Holiday Flash Sale.
From 9am on Friday 24 May until 23:59 the same day, eBay is knocking 15% off all electronics and appliances from the likes of Google, Dyson, Samsung, Sony and Apple.
After you’ve finished shopping, simply enter the code PLUGIN15 at the checkout and 15% will be taken off all relevant products in your basket. The discount applies to new items, as well as refurbished and second-hand models. All are backed by the eBay buyer protection.
There is a number of caveats, though. You need to spend a minimum of £20 to qualify for the discount and the maximum savings can’t exceed £60. The code can only be used by UK customers, and only once per user.

1. Apple iPhone X (was £499, now £439)
When it launched, the iPhone X made headlines for being the most expensive Apple handset ever, breaking the £1,000 mark. Although this record has since been broken with the launch of the iPhone Xs and Xs Max, the original 10th anniversary model is still holding its value. That’s why it’s rare to see one drop below £500. As part of eBay’s Flash Sale, you can currently get an unlocked, refurbished iPhone X for an amazing price of £439 – a saving of £60 off the already great price of £499. This particular listing is via Music Magpie’s eBay store and has been professionally refurbished by its in-house engineers.
2. Bose QuietComfort 35 headphones (was £137.99, now £117.30)
Despite being surpassed by the Bose QuietComfort 35 II, the original, first-generation noise-cancelling headphones from the audio giant still hold their own. They offer superb comfort, help block out the world, and their audio quality, for both music and calls, is great. They usually retail for around £220 but you can get them for £117 via the eBay Flash Sale.
3. Sony Cybershot Camera (was £74.99, now £63.74)
Sony’s Cyber-shot DSC-W800 is a quality compact camera without the premium price tag. With a 5x optical zoom, and 40x digital zoom, Face Detection technology, a 20.1-megapixel sensor and the ability to record 720p video, this is a perfect companion for holidays or weekends away. Plus, as part of the eBay Flash Sale, it’s even cheaper at £63.
4. Dyson Ball Animal 2 Upright Vacuum (was £210, now £178.49)
The Dyson Animal 2 Upright vacuum has dropped below the £200 mark as part of the eBay Flash Sale. This manufacturer-refurbished cleaner combines Dyson’s icon ball technology, for ease of use, with a wide range of tools, including a stair tool and a combination tool to help clean cobwebs and high-up places.
5. Samsung 50in Ultra HD Smart 4K HDR TV (£365, now £310.25)
Samsung makes some fantastic 4K HDR TVs and if you’ve been looking for the opportunity to get your hands on one, now’s your chance. The Samsung Galaxy Tab E may be four years old this summer, but it’s still a decent entry-level tablet. It has a 9.6in display, runs on a 1.3Ghz quad-core processor, and features a 5MP on the rear and a 2MP shutter on the front.
