Our Rating
We're not sure Monet would approve of Aiptek using his name on this frame.
It isn't all that attravailable, though you can make its edges glow blue if you wish. There's built-in Bluetooth, so you can send photos from a Bluetooth-capable phone or PC. However, the frame has only a tiny 16MB of built-in memory to store them.
The display has a slightly grainy finish, which makes pictures look softer than they should. Colours are rich, though, and there's plenty of contrast. Its 1.58:1 aspect ratio is a better match for photos than most frames here, especially for those from a DSLR, but the frame always stretches images to fit the screen.
There's no frame-orientation setting in the menu, and only three speed settings - slow, medium, and fast - for slide intervals. There's also no timer, so you'll need to switch it off manually at night or when you go out.
Because of these failings, the Monet is worth buying only if you really need Bluetooth.
