Cristiano Ronaldo teams up with Monster for sports headphones

ROC Cristiano Ronaldo teaser

Cristiano Ronaldo now has his own headphone range in partnership with Monster and eBay

Not content with just being named Fifa Ballon d’Or three times and being one of the most instantly recognisable sports stars in the world, Cristiano Ronaldo has now partnered with Monster and eBay to launch his own headphone range under the name ROC: Live Life Loud brand. That’s one area where he’s got the one up on rival Lionel Messi (until he launches his own headphones that is). “Everything in my life is about performance and quality,” said Ronaldo. “We launched ROC Live Life Loud to give my fans around the world direct access to high design and the best sound quality on the market.”

ROC Sport SuperSlim by Monster

The new range is releasing in October and include the ROC Sport SuperSlim by Monster in-ear sports wireless neckband headphones, which will retail for £130.

ROC Sport Freedom by Monster

Up next is the ROC Sport Freedom by Monster on-ear wireless sport headphones for £200.

ROC Sport Black Platinum by Monster

At the more premium end of the line is the ROC Sport Black Platinum by Monster that costs £250 and are also over-ear in design but lack Bluetwooth wireless.

eBay has secured exclusive worldwide distribution rights, so if you’re interested in a pair, that’s where you’ll need to go when they’re released in October. Monster and Ronaldo are also releasing a separate ROC Luxe line in the Autumn that moves away from sports and instead looks to “take you off the pitch and into Ronaldo’s jet-set question for the ultimate design and quality” (their words).

Fashion headphones are big business, so it’s unsurprising. But by the look of the ROC Sport range, they bring some class and appeal to the sports headphones market and should be better placed for a physical workout than your average pair of Beats by Dr. Dre. We’ll get a pair in for review closer to their October release.

To promote the new headphones, Cristiano Ronaldo also took to the streets of Madrid in disguise. You can watch the video below:
