Three deals: Get unlimited 5G broadband for its lowest price EVER

In this Three deal, you'll get the company's user-friendly 5G broadband for a rock-bottom price of £21/mth

As Three deals go, this one’s a beauty: the mobile network is currently offering its unlimited 5G home broadband for an exceptional £21/mth on a two-year contract. That means you’ll get blisteringly fast speeds for streaming, gaming or working without any of the hassle of setting up a traditional broadband connection. It works exactly like the latest 5G phones: just fire it up and start surfing.

The caveat is, of course, that you need to live in a 5G area to make the most of Three’s 5G Hub. Luckily, Three has the widest 5G coverage of all of the major mobile networks, according to Opensignal’s latest round of tests, and you can check if it’s available in your neck of the woods via the firm’s handy tool.

But how fast is Three’s 5G? Well, Opensignal’s benchmarks also recorded an average download speed of 104Mbits/sec and an upload rate of 12Mbits/sec. In comparison, you’d pay £44/mth for the equivalent speed with Virgin Media. That’s an incredible saving and you have two more added bonuses: no setup fees and the ability to plug the 5G Hub in wherever you want.

In our latest Three review, we sang the praises of its expanding 5G network and value for money. Its below-average customer service scores and 4G coverage were flies in the ointment, but the majority of its users still said that they were either satisfied or very satisfied. Meanwhile, Opensignal’s 2021 survey found that the size of Three’s 4G network was only slightly behind the other major networks and its average 4G download speeds were actually the second fastest after EE.

And, while we’re on the subject, Three also offers a 4G Hub for locales that haven’t seen the benefit of 5G yet. It’s incredibly affordable too: you’ll get unlimited 4G data for just £14/mth on a two-year deal, with the company claiming that you’ll experience average download speeds of 50Mbits/sec to 100Mbits/sec.

Alternatively, you could pick up the firm’s 4G Plus Hub, which promises an even more stable connection, for £17/mth on a 24-month plan. None of the devices above are stylish – think white plastic boxes with the Three logo emblazoned on them – but it’s difficult to quibble when you’re getting this much mobile broadband for your money.

If you live in an established 5G area and want the simplest broadband solution possible, with no upfront fees or Ethernet cables to untangle, Three’s 5G Hub really is a no-brainer. That lowest-ever price of £21/mth makes it phenomenally good value.
