Sky deals: This broadband and TV bundle is PHENOMENAL

As Sky deals go, this is stunning: 59Mbits/sec broadband, a new TV, Sky channels and Netflix from £56/mth, plus a huge £100 gift card

Sky deals don’t get much better than this: via the company’s Sky Glass bundle, you’ll get an average broadband download speed of 59Mbits/sec, a brand-new TV in a range of different colours, all of your favourite Sky channels and a Netflix subscription from just £56/mth. And, if that wasn’t enough, Sky is currently throwing in a gigantic £100 prepaid Mastercard to sweeten the deal. Phew!

The price above is for the 43in TV package, but you can step up to a 55in or 65in model for £60/mth or £64/mth respectively. To break the costs down, you’ll be paying an interest-free £13/mth (43in), £17/mth (55in) or £21/mth (65in) for 48 months for the TV, while the remaining £43/mth is for the broadband and TV on an 18-month contract. An upfront fee of up to £49 applies.

This is a spectacular Sky deal, with an emphasis on convenience: rather than fiddling with a set-top box, you just plug in your new TV to start watching, while the broadband will provide plenty of bandwidth for multiple devices to browse, stream or game at the same time. As always, get in there as quickly as possible while the eye-boggling £100 Mastercard offer lasts.

But how does Sky’s service measure up? In our most review of its broadband offering, we awarded the provider four stars out of five and a coveted Recommended award for its strong results across the board. In fact, Sky finished second overall behind Plusnet in our Best Broadband Awards 2022.

We were particularly impressed with its rock-solid reliability, great-value bundles (as this deal aptly illustrates) and excellent customer support feedback in our survey. Our only quibble was with the steep price rises after the end of the plans, but we recommend shopping around well before then anyway. If you’re after a superb all-rounder, Sky is the ISP to pick.

We weren’t quite as enamoured with the Sky Glass TVs, but still found plenty of positives: they’re incredibly convenient to use, have an intuitive interface and deliver well-rounded audio. However, the HDR performance isn’t up there with the best, which led to a total score of three out of five.

Still, it’s easy to look past that when you’re getting so much bang for your buck with this Sky deal: superfast broadband from the second-best provider, hundreds of channels at your fingertips, Netflix and a jaw-dropping £100 Mastercard to spend on whatever you like. Again, sign up soon to avoid disappointment.
