Currys PC World sale: Dozens of products slashed this Easter Weekend

You can enjoy substantial savings on electronics, white goods and appliances over the long weekend

Your main priority over Easter Weekend is probably to enjoy as much of the sunny weather as possible – while eating your body weight in Easter eggs, perhaps. But we also suggest taking a look at Currys PC World’s website, as the retailer has just launched a huge Easter sale.

Currys has slashed prices on all sorts of products. Everything from TVs to toasters to coffee machines have all been reduced in the site-wide sale. While the last major sale in February was a bit of an anticlimax, there are some real bargains to be found right now for the eagle-eyed shopper.

For example, LG’s Ultra HD line of televisions have all dropped in price. The 65in LG 65UK6470PLC has dropped from £729 to £599, while the 55in model has dropped from £499 to £399 and the 49in model from £399 to £349. The 55in Samsung QE55Q6FNATXXU (you can read more on Samsung TVs here) has been lowered from £999 to £799 – not bad at all, for a TV of this calibre.

Lots of white goods have been significantly reduced, too. The Samsung WW90J5456FX Ecobubble dishwasher has taken a plunge in price of £200 and is now just £299. The RB31FDJNDBC/EU 70/30 fridge freezer from the same brand has been reduced from £569 to £399. Also on sale is the Breville Curve VKT017 Jug Kettle, which has been drastically discounted by 56% in all five colours: it’s now a mere £35, down from £80.

We also wanted to flag that the Google Home Mini smart speaker – whose style and functionality we called out in our four-star review – is on sale for £29, although admittedly we’ve seen that price matched by other retailers. Still, it’s a nice drop from £49.

And if you’re in the market for smart lights, you can pick one up with a Philips Hue White and Colour Mini Smart Bulb Starter Kit for just £83. That’s a substantial £52 saving compared to buying the Hue starter kit on its own. Not bad.

It’s not just Currys who has put some incredible deals out there – a number of mattress brands are offering some incredible discounts, and Amazon always has some great deals on offer. So make sure you don’t miss out on picking up a bargain over the long weekend. While soaking up the sunshine, of course.
