The word “bargain” doesn’t really do justice to Vodafone deals this good: via the third-party retailer Mobiles.co.uk, you can currently pick up a whopping 100GB of 5G data for an eye-boggling £8.50/mth on a one-year contract. That’s down from its usual price of £9.50/mth, which was already an astonishing offer that put all of its rivals in the shade. If you’re after as much value for money as possible in these tricky financial times, look no further.
Let’s crunch the numbers: you’d have to fork out £11/mth for a mere 1GB of 5G data from Vodafone directly, while 1GB with EE is £15/mth with EE and even budget favourite iD Mobile charges £14/mth for 100GB. You can’t argue with a hundred times more data for £2.50/mth less. The only catch is that you’ll have to claim the saving via cashback (otherwise it’s £15/mth), but the process is very straightforward and well worth it. And, if you do, you’ll be getting a truly unrivalled saving – not just by the high standards of Vodafone deals, but by those of SIM-only offers in general. Discounts this extravagant don’t tend to last long, though, so make sure you sign up sooner rather than later.
We praised Vodafone for its impressive selection of plans in our latest review of its service, while its 4G and 5G speeds are also up to scratch. It will deliver a reliable signal too. Lacklustre customer support ratings were our biggest quibble with the mobile provider, but it’s certainly not alone in this respect – many of the big mobile providers posted similarly disappointing scores. And these complaints are easy to look past when you’re getting this much 5G data for under a tenner.
