As part of an eye-catching pair of SIM-only deals, EE is currently offering double the data on select 24 month 125GB plans.
The cheaper of these two 250GB plans, available for £23/mth, offers unlimited calls and texts, stay connected data and the option to gift data to family members also signed up to EE. The only caveat with this cheaper option is that your download speeds will be limited to a still very generous 100 Mbits/sec, which is enough to comfortably watch HD video and live streams.
The higher tier plan, set at £31/mth, offers all of the above, plus unlimited speeds and one inclusive extra, allowing you to choose between two free years of Netflix, Apple Music, BT Sport, Microsoft 365, XBOX Game Pass Ultimate and EE’s own Unlimited Entertainment Data Pass or Roam Abroad Pass.
In our latest EE review, we awarded the provider four stars and our recommended award, with the service garnering praise for its reliable performance; impressive 5G speeds and wide-ranging coverage; and solid scores for customer service and satisfaction. Covering 99% of the UK with its 4G network, and 50% with its 5G service, the provider boasted peerless median speeds of 66.2Mbits/sec. Our one quibble with the network was its general priciness, making snapping up a solid deal like the ones above a great opportunity to get a quality SIM-only set-up alongside good value for money.
Also of high quality are the range of inclusive freebies than you can choose from with EE’s higher tier plan, with Netflix offering you access to the latest streaming hits like Wednesday, Stranger Things, Squid Game and more; BT Sport Ultimate showing off the hottest Champions League and Europa League fixtures; and Apple Music offering users its expansive song library and excellent user interface, both of which helped land it a place on our best music streaming service list.
