EE SIM-only deals: Stonking savings on superfast speeds

If you’re hoping to save on your monthly contract, you’re in luck because these tasty EE SIM-only deals give you great discounts on a range of contracts. As ever, the best savings come with EE’s 24-month unlimited data SIM contracts, which have a fantastic six-months half-price. However, those who don’t want to commit to a long-term contract can still benefit from a generous discount on EE’s one-month SIMs.
The generous six-month EE SIM-only deals are only available on the company’s pricier unlimited data plans, with prices starting at £14/mth for the first six months, increasing to £28/mth thereafter. For this price, you’ll be restricted to capped 100Mbits/sec speeds – for uncapped speeds, you’ll need to fork out £18/mth for the first six months and then £36/mth for the final 18 months. Still, that means you can save up to £108 on the best speeds if you’re new to EE.
For existing EE customers, now’s an even better time to grab a new SIM as you can get an additional 20% off every new SIM added to an existing EE account. That means you can get uncapped unlimited data for a measly £14.40/mth for the first six months on a 24-month plan, saving a whopping £259 over the length of the contract.
If you don’t think you’ll need unlimited data, you can get three months half price on EEs 150GB data plans, which start at £12/mth and increase to £24/mth after three months. To get uncapped speeds, you’ll need to pay £16/mth for the first three months, then £32/mth for the final 21 months of the contract. These savings are more modest than the unlimited data packages, so we’d recommend opting for unlimited data if your budget can stretch a little further. Nonetheless, three months half price is still a good deal.
Long-term contracts are the best way to save big on big data SIMs, but luckily, people who don’t want to commit to a long-term plan can still save £4/mth on EE’s one-month plans. These are far worse value than the long-term plans, starting at £18 for just 1GB data at capped speeds, and stretching to £34/mth if you want uncapped unlimited data. Still, those prices include the £4/mth saving, and existing EE customers can get an extra 20% off on top of that. So, if you’re set on getting a short-term plan with superfast, reliable speeds, it’s a deal worth taking.
