This Black Friday Pixel 3 deal is worth shouting about

The brand-new Google Pixel 3 is a phenomenal phone, along with its Google Pixel 3 XL counterpart. Our five-star review testifies to this, in which we cite the handset’s superb camera, excellent performance and “faultless” screen. No hyperbole here.

This kind of ineffable quality is something that’s hard to put a price on of course and the Pixel 3 and 3 XL are undoubtedly expensive handsets – especially for phones without expandable storage. That’s why this Black Friday deal is certainly worth shouting about. If you’ve bee umm-ing and ahh-ing over taking the leap, now’s your time.

So without further ado… 

At Mobile Phones Direct, you can get a Google Pixel 3 for £30 per month with no upfront cost. Not only does this deal give you a frankly ridiculous 100GB of UK data each month, but it’ll cost you a mere £720 overall. This is the 128GB Pixel 3, as well, which has a SIM-free RRP of £839 on its own with no contract. You can’t argue with those numbers.
 
If you want the bigger screen, the Pixel 3 XL is available with almost identical conditions. The only thing to watch out for is that this is the 64GB version, and with no expandable storage you may find yourself bumping up against its capacity pretty quickly. Still, with no upfront and a contract total of £732, it’s still considerably cheaper than buying the handset SIM-free with its £869 RRP, with copious amounts of data to boot.
 
There are other deals on Mobile Phones Direct, and if you’re prepared to jump through cashback hoops you can get an even better deal. But the two above are the right balance between price and convenience for me. If you’re desperate for a Pixel 3, this is as good as it gets on Black Friday.
