How to delete your Instagram account

Say your goodbyes to your Instagram account with these easy steps

Sharing photos, videos and stories of your favourite moments, memories you want to share with the world, has always been one of the main draws of Instagram. Eventually, however, you might decide you need to delete your account.

Whatever the reason, you’ve finally decided to call it quits and we can help with that, with these easy-to-follow steps to help you delete your Instagram account.

Be careful, though. While Instagram allows you to deactivate your account, allowing you to reactivate it at a later date, you can also permanently delete it, meaning you’ll never be able to retrieve it. You also can’t deactivate or delete your account using the Instagram app. We’ve broken it all down for you to follow, though, so you won’t have to worry about saying goodbye forever if all you wanted was a short break.
